How can I fix my fridge?

the door doesnt close all the way when you close it unless you physically push it close. and everyone is the house is forgetting this causeing the door to be open for a while. is there something i can buy at home depot or something to help it close normally again.

First make sure the fridge is leaning slightly back by adjusting the front legs so that the front of the fridge is higher than the back. Next, clean the door gasket with some warm soapy water all the way around. Clean the fridge where the door gasket touches all the way around. Apply a thin film of Vaseline to the gasket on the hinge side. This will apply a little bit of lubricant so that when the gasket rubs against the fridge frame, it will slide with minimal friction.

make sure all of the drawers are shut all the way and nothing is obstructing it from closing even check the stuff you got in the door of the fridge.  check the stripping that seal the door for cracks or pieces missing.

There are torquemasters or tensioners that can be adjusted on many models that will let the door close with more or less ease,as needed.The ones that I've came across take an allen wrench or cresant wrench to adjust them.Most are on the top hinge but could be on the bottom one.
