How can I fix my staple gun?

Question

I have 2 staple guns that appear to work but, when I press the thing no staples come out. One is a stanley sharp shooter, other is swingline heavy duty tacker # 800. Does any one know what might be wrong? Or how I can fix rthem?

check #1- if you have staples, in the gun.
if so, invest in a new stapler there not too expensive.

that was a ridiculously un-helpful response.  my staple gun is doing the same thing and i'm about ready to throw it through the window!
