How can I improve on this photo?

I'd prefer suggestions on Flickr, because I visit it more often

it looks really nice, but i wouldnt know how to improve it anyways.

First off, the focus is off on the spiders front legs, the front legs look inconsistantly blurred. Looks like it's badly photoshopped. Second, try a little more contrast between the spider and it's surroundings. Make it POP! When i look at the picture, my eye wants to focus on the glare that's below the word "Canon". Generally, very interesting concept and has potential.
