How can I flirt back?

I'm a sophomore girl and these two hot popular senior boys always flirt with me and tell me I'm hot and stuff. I feel lame just saying thanks and smiling or saying you too. What else can I do? They're two years older so it probably shouldn't be TOO flirty. ;)

There are multiple ways to act flirty, here are some of the best suggestions:

Compliments-Be sure to compliment them in a casual and friendly way on things that are true. Sometimes people will make up compliments just to talk to someone, but that is the total wrong thing to do. You really should compliment on things you really like, so you sound more sincere naturally.Some times complimenting their family or other things they are proud of works.

Compliments work; just be sure they're honest.  Compliment what they do ("Wow, that was a great pass in the game" or "You have such a great voice, I hope you get the part" or "You got another A? You're so smart... maybe you could tutor me?") or what they look like.  Use specifics! "You're so hot" is generic, it sounds like a pickup line that could be used on anybody, where "I love your broad shoulders" is pretty specific!

Listen, listen, listen.  People always like other people paying attention to them.
