I just painted my entire living room and my stepson "helped". I now have paint on my wood trim that I want to take off but I don't want to ruin the finish.

  1. Assuming it's latex paint, there are many different things sold to remove it. Ask at a Mom & Pop hardware store.

  2. If it is PVC paint you can peel it off when not too dry. I would use my nails and then polish the wood up. If might leave stains though. If you can varnish again you can rub it down with steel wool and apply 1 coat.

  3. I would say to use peel away you just apply this on the wood and then peel it away a few hours later. If you want something faster you can use a razor a scrape off the excess. Best of luck!
