How can I get 1 link to add to my Michele watch band?

I had links removed 2 years ago and I wanted to add one of them back into the band, but I have misplaced the extra links. I wrote to Michele and they told me to mail the the watch and they would add one link and mail it back to me. This will take 5 weeks...isn't there an easier way? I was on ebay and craigs list and found nothing. Any suggestions? It is 16mm band.

You could check with a local jeweler, but if they don't have the link your best bet would to go with Michele's offer/
