Question:

How can I get $18,000 for college?

I have been accepted to Montana State University. I have registered for classes, I have a dorm secure, and I am already to go. However, I am having issues with the funds. F-Aid is able to give me all but $18,000 for the year. Meaning I need to raise $9,000 for the semester. I have tried over a dozen companies online, but I can't get approved by anyone. I have even gone to many banks and they have turned me down for student loans. I have applied for grants and scholarships, but I have been rejected for those too. FASFA states that my family can afford to go and thus I can't get any more aid from the government. And with my current family budget, we can't afford to send me to school. And the biggest problem is that I am a middle class white male trying to go to school out of state (I live in Kentucky). I don't know what else to do. School starts September 2nd and I need to have the funds secure by September 15th to prevent them from pulling me out of school. I don't know what else do to!

  1. Get a job

  2. That sucks because I am in the SAME situation. My parents make too much on paper, but not enough to pay for my school. So here I am, working 40 hours a week, trying to pay for my school, truck, rent, insurance, phone, orthodontics, and food while trying to stay in school with decent grades. It's extremely hard, and it's a shame that certain races get more help than the middle class 'white guy' such as myself.

  3. u cAN sell ur body to science so then ull b in skool fur ever

  4. You may have your heart set on attending Montana State, but the reality is you may not be able to afford out-of-state tuition.  Trying to come up with $18,000 in a month is going to be really, really hard.  You can keep trying to borrow the money from a lender, but because of the economic climate many lenders have tightened up the lending requirements and it's become really hard to borrow.  The last thing you want to do is mess up your first year of college.  I'd say if you can't find a lender to loan you the money within the next week you better plan on falling back on your second option and stay in state.

  5. Hi,

I would suggest you spend 1-2 years to work and then come back to the school you like. Maybe, you may think differently at that time.

I'm scratching my head too for my grad school tuition.

Good luck is all I can say to you.

  6. In regards to your question. My little advice is that you go to a bank in your area to request for the loan, that is if you have a collateral, but if you want a loan from those that give out unsecured loan without a collateral i know of a loan firm that gives out unsecured loans, though he is the only one i have tried for now so i don't really know if their interest rate is the lowest. Few months ago when i had a bad credit, a friend of mine introduced me to them,  inspite of my bad credit they were able to lend me a loan of £20,000  of which i used to revive my business, I think you too can do the same as well. Here is their contact information if you wish to contact them. multiplecreditloan@yahoo.com

Regardless of your nationality, i am sure they can be of help to you.

    Good Luck,

    Annabel Foster.
