In my neighborhood (a gated community in FL), the preteens do babysitting, dog-walking, car-washing, pet-sitting.  These are fun and easy ways to earn money.  We have a monthly bulletin where the pre-teens can advertise their skills and what they do- such as babysitting and dog-walking.  Babysitters make more than $5.00 per hour.  Best of luck to you in earning this money for the things you want to buy.

Do yard work. It's a great legal way for you to earn money. If you mow someone's lawn, you could get 15 dollars or more.($15 dollars is the standard around my town).
