How can I get DSL phone line to work on telephone?

Before hard drive was replaced, I had DSL phone line with a splitter on it connected to puter and to phone and could use them independently. I've forgotten how I did it. There are 2 phone outlets on my puter. HELP

One jack is for a phone, one jack goes to the DSL modem.  The rest of your phone jacks need to have DSL filters on them.
