How can I get DVDs onto my ipod (for free!)?

I know this question has been asked a lot before but I just want to know: is there any way to get DVDs onto my iPod classic without having to pay for a fancy converter or anything?

Then, simply insert your DVD and let it Rip it for free, this basically means it will copy the movie for you.

Then, convert the ripped version to MP4 and sync it to your iPod!

iPod only accepts MP4 video format, and if you want get the movies from a DVD, you need a DVD Converter software.

Er, you should convert the DVD files to iPod format, iPod just accepts MPEG4 format, I think you can try wondershare dvd to ipod ripper to help you , my friend recommend, it works quite well.
