How can I get Fe+2 or Fe+3 ions in water? ?

  1. When they react with NaOH,

    Fe+2 is green colour.

    Fe+3 is brown colour.

    If you want to get Fe+2 or Fe+3 ions in water, you can try these ways.

    If you want to get Fe+2 to Fe+3, just get some FeSO4 and drop it ito the water. Then, put a piece of Mg ribbon into the FeSO4.

    If you want to get Fe+3 to Fe+2, just get some FeCl3 and drop it ito the water. Then, drop some chlorine water into the FeCl3.
