How can I get all of my music out of my iTunes library so that I may use Windows Media Player instead? I downloaded some of my music from the iTunes store, and I understand there's some difficulty with rights where these are concerned. But I don't appreciate Apple deciding how I use the music that I bought and own.

  1. Go to your rycicle bin in your computer

  2. Eli, you can do it just by burning some CDs or DVDs using iTunes or copying to memory sticks. When you do this those files can be used anywhere, just make sure the recording is set to burn those files as mp3. To set it to mp3, open your iTunes, click "Edit" tab > Preferences > Advanced > Burning. In the Disc Format option select MP3 CD, click OK. Now make your playlist and burn it using iTunes itself.

If you use memory sticks you have to convert the song files from AAC to mp3 yourself. AAC is the format for those songs you got from iTunes Store.

Remember that whatever you are going to use as media, in mp3 format you can put an average of 250 songs (128kbps) per GB of capacity.
