  1. Go with him to the loo at home, and show him he only needs to pull his kecks down.

Make sure he observes dad having a slash standing at some point.

  2. Sometimes we have to let them do what is most comfotable for them to learn .. Later he will see that not everyone else does it that way and willeventually be comfortable doing it the way we all do. Is he not aloud to do it this way at school because the teachers won't allow it? I'm sure that your frustrated but maybe he is too, to him atleast he is going in the toilet and not in his pants. let him do it his way for a bit longer it will all come on the right way in the end.  :) Good Luck

  3. Why does he need to remove his clothes to potty? Even my 2 y/o grand babies don't do that. Could you explain?

  4. I had the exact same problem!  I would do a wee wee in school, but never the number 2!  So what I ended up doing was taking my OWN toilet role from the house, bring it to school, and i would cover the seat with it, so it feels like I'm sitting on my home toilet, it then becomes a habit and any toilet will feel like the home one.

  5. Are there any other children (brothers, sisters, cousins, neighbour's children?) he can watch using the toilet so that he can see that it's perfectly possible to use the toilet for a poo without removing all his clothes.

If he is reliably toilet trained then it is likely that he will soon get fed up with pooing himself and will look to you for help.  If you change him after he has messy pants then try keeping his upper clothes on while cleaning him up, then lifting him straight onto the toilet afterwards, telling him how he could have pooed like this, rather than in his pants.

I don't think this is likely to be a long-term problem.  Best of luck.
