  1. Assuming that you have original C.D. for your system Go Start >control panel> add remove programs click on add/remove windows components> accessories ensure the "paint" box is ticked click OK this should return one of windows(XP) standard programs.

    Hope this helps

  2. im not sure, microsoft.com maybe?

    if not get paint.NET

its better in my opinion :D

  3. Okay... you want to get paint app back.. right

    First <Using xp then> GOTO

    Control panel=>Add remove programs=>

"Add remove components" left side banner <of Add remove programs>

There go accessories check paint box.....

If you using Vista then control panel search'Add remove components'

    Select whatever you want........

But i recommend you use Paint.NET software...

If yu wnt install Paint.net you should install microsoft .net if not there

  5. go to run type mspaint and run it.

or you can search for mspaint.exe and then create a short cut.

  6. go to control panel>add or remove program>add or remove windows component>accesories>then tick the paint

  7. Two methods

    1. If it was deleted from startmenu their is a 100% chance it was not deleted. you can check that

click on start menu> then run and type

    mspaint

    click ok

    their you go.

as it resides in the C:\ drive to be specific

    c:\windows\system32

    2. The Above method fails and If it was uninstalled then you;ll have to install it again. here is how you do it.

go to control panel> then to add/remove programs

(switch to class view before this from left pane of the control panel window)

open it >>>on the left pane click the option that says "add/rmove window components"

    window components window opens up.

highlight accessories and utilities > and make sure its checked ...leave everythin as it is.

click on next and it will install that on your computer, sometimes it will ask for CD....if you got it insert XP cd or point to an XP image.

    it canbe found on startmenu>accessories

make a short cut on desktop

    right click on desktop

    goto NEW  then shortcut

    browse to C drive

    Folder Windows

    folder system32

    and the file mspaint.exe

click ok and you are done
