How can I get Punk to do this?

I have an orange oranda too but he is about a third the size of him! Anyway right now I can stick my hand in the tank and he will swim up and kiss it but I want to know how I could do that with him and how to make him not afraid of my hand! I know about the protective slime coating and will always use stress coat also I won't do this for more then a minuite a week!

Fish tend to react with food. So I suggest putting you hand in the tank, let him kiss it then feed him his meal. After a while he will get used to your hand and you can go a step farther and stroke him. Just remember to be patient and try to do it around the same time each day :D

i can do that with my comet fish too!!!! =D you have to feed them and get use to them. when performing water changes put your hand or your finger in the aquarium and just let it stay stiil or shake the hand around for 2 seconds. the the fish will come up to nibble on your finger or come to your hand. also if you have a goldfish dont feed it for 2 days then do a water change then do that trick i just said. you can also feed the fish by hand. though you have to have the fish for a long time so it can notice your face and stuff.
