Go to IRCTC.CO.IN.  Get Registered and you will get a password.  Login using your name and password.  Go  to Plan My Trip.  Type from and To(Station Codes), then Date of Journey and Class of Travel and Type or ticket etc at the rrespective locations and you will get the train available on that route and by clicking on any train on the box at the left side you will get the status.

it will then show u all trains going to that destinaton.

click on the train and class u want to travel in it will then show u the available seats.u can also click on fare to know the fare.
