How can I get Sky Miles?

I need to get at least 10,000 Sky Miles and I am willing to pay for them. If someone will trade... then fine but I don't want to do anything illegal.

How can I get them legitimately?

sorry, the airlines won't let you transfer miles.  you'll have to fly to earn them.  try contacting your airline and see if they'll let you buy them?

First you have to sign up for the program.

You can buy them for yourself; the cost is $0.0275 USD per mile plus a 7.5% Federal Excise Tax.

Note that a Sky Miles member can purchase miles for someone else, so if you know a member, you could have them buy them for you.
