How can I get a 3 year UK work visa if my comany does not provide sponsorship?

I am from the United States and recently applied for a job based in the UK. I received a call back for the position, however, the company will not provide sponsorship for the mandatory 3 year work visa that they require. What should I do? I am so lost!

i feel for you. i know about 8 canadians who face the same problem trying to work in the US. the rules are different for each state. most people just try getting similar jobs in a different state. a lady denied visa to work in buffalo NY applied for a similar job in greensborough NC and she got a visa right away. you may wanna try that. get a similar job in other part of UK.

Work permit visa is usually for 1 year & not 3 years. Please check if you can qualify for Tier 1 (General), its sponsorless work visa for three years.
