and then transfer to a 4 year university, without losing focus or getting bogged down by depression?

I suffered from alot of uh, mental health issues last time I went to college, and it ruined everything for me and I eventually dropped out. Now it's been a few years and I want to try to make another attempt and better myself. I feel pretty good about it so far, fter seeing a therapist and learning more about myself, but are there any extra tips that university grads can give me? Thanks so much for your advice.

  1. Pick a really easy major, or get ready to start working.  Do the reading before class, do all the assigned homework and extra problems if you're not sure you got the concepts, go to office hours and ask questions when you get confused, get a tutor if necessary, and study for exams.  Take your papers to the campus writing center for critique before handing them in.

And don't make it your goal to have a 4.0; the people who MUST have an A in every class do so by complaining about every graded assignment they get back, grade-grubbing, and begging for extra credit.  Make it your goal to get as much out of the class as possible, and to understand as much of the material as possible - and the A's will come.
