Question:

How can I get a better place to do my homework?

Next year in school, I want to work a lot harder and do a lot better (I had a 3.6 and a 3.5), I am hoping for a 4.0. One thing that makes it hard for me to do my homework is the fact that I don't really have a place to do it. I usually do it on the kitchen table, but my mom is always watching TV or cooking or moving about. It always makes me feel insecure, like the whole world is moving and I'm not. If I had a nice quiet place to do my homework, my life would be a lot easier. I was thinking that I could stay after school to do it in the library? My room is tiny and has a bunch of c**p in it, so that's a no-go. Any ideas?

  1. Do what I do. Find a weedy little brainbox and make him do your homework for you. You get better results, you don't need to find a place to study and you get more free time. It's a win win win situation, except for your homework slave.

  2. Hi,

First of all DEFINATELY don't do what Ken said. lol...

    Here are some ideas:

*Stay after school in the library*

*Make a space in the basement if you have one*

*CLEAN your room up, then you'll have more space*

*If its a nice day out, sometimes I go outside and sit in the grass, or on a chair*

*If you have a closet, re-do it. Clean it all out, and then buy a desk and a lamp, and your all set! (If your closet is big enough lol)*

*Study in your parents bedroom, if your mom is always in the kitchen*

    *Study at a friends house*

    *Go to a public library*

*If you live near a beach go there and bringa blanket and study there, or if you have a pubic pool somewhere near, go there and get a tan and study!*

That's all I can think of! But if you have any extra rooms, study there too! Good Luck and I hope I helped!!!!

  3. The library's always nice, and they have computers & books, so you always something to help you. You could also try finding a teacher who stays after school so you could stay in there.
