How can I get a diet coke stain out of my beige carpet?

I spilled half a glass of coke onto the carpet, and thought I had washed it out with water and scrubbing, but today there is a large brown stain. I want it gone, help!

I had similar  but not coke.  tried  stain removers etc  and scrubbing,  but only limited success.  friend  loaned me a Vax  cleaning machine,  together with the detergent stuff,  and after a couple of goes  it  has come up lovely  . No stain at all.  I believe you can hire these machines  apart from buying one,,,

Vinegar and warm water.

soak it with a damp washcloth. put a lil powder that will soak a little bit out of the carpet. after it dries put in OXY KIX let it set for a while then scrub and it should come out. If it doesn't work you need the big machines you know those ones that do a major cleaning usually for all of your carpet
