How can I get a farm driving license in Kentucky?

My friend told me that it is possible if you're 15 in Kentucky to obtain a special license that allows you to drive farm vehicles if you own a farm. I've looked for a little while now and can't find any evidence of this in the state of Kentucky. I would appreciate some feedback.

  1. I believe your friend is mistaken. You are allowed to drive farm equipment on your property, once the equipment hits a public roadway, someone with a valid license must operate the equipment. There are licensing issues regarding the equipment being driven on farm and public roadways, the farmer can get special permits or their licensing fees are less if licensed as farm equipment. Possibly your friend was talking about this, not a driver license for farm equipment.
