  1. This is the site I use for cruises all the time. I do have a membership with the dream trips and it saves ALOT of money on the cruises also. I hope this helps!

  2. I have found that Carnival is the best deal,

    booking early is always best

the cheapest time is Sept - Dec (excluding holidays)

this is when we book and we discovered this by accident on our first cruise as our anniversary is in Dec

Tampa is my favorite port to sail from and has the Carnival Inspiration, Carnival Legend.

  3. There is a great website for taking cruises out of Tampa, Port Canaveral and Miami.  They have great prices as this company has a good relationship with the Vendors. Carnival, Princess and others.  They also offer a Military/veterans discount.  Give it a look.

  4. Three cruise lines have cruises leaving from Tampa, Holland America, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean.

All three cruise lines list their specials right on their home web page.  Carnival and Royal Caribbean have the best sites for finding specials.  You will also get the best price if you book far in advance of your planned cruise date and also be flexible on the date that you want to go.  Some times the price of a cruise can vary by hundreds of dollars on different dates.

But while you may be able to find some good prices, your options for good prices will be limited quite a bit by looking for cruises leaving only from Tampa.  There are many more cruise lines, ships and options from the other ports in Florida, and consequently better prices and ships.   And while you may be close enough to drive to Tampa for your cruise, you can also drive to Port Canaveral, Ft Lauderdale and Miami and park for your cruise.

  5. Cruiseshipcenters.

    Really really good!

    www.cruiseshipcenters.com

as well go to Expedia.ca and click on the link there as well.

You can't get better then that.

  6. Deals change all the time depending on what's selling (just like with hotels and airlines).

That said, you'll always get better prices during the low season, which February, March, October and November -- because there are no school vacations then, so families aren't buying cruises.

Tampa's a pretty good port for deals, but if you'd consider driving to Fort Lauderdale or Miami, you may want to search those too since they have more ships going in and out.

Checking the cruise line websites isn't a bad idea, but actually they DON'T always have the best deals.  This is because they agreements with all their travel agents not to undercut a standard price -- like an MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) for stuff at the store.

Online discounters can often get you a better deal, because they have lower overheads so they can go lower than the "MSRP" -- just like Amazon sells for less than a regular bookstore or the book publisher's own website.

  7. Check the website of each cruise line.  You won't find better prices for the actual cruise on any other site - travel sites may offer better package deals, but you can't beat the actual cruise line's best price.

Either book 4-5 months in advance, or search for last-minute deals (leaving that week/end).

  8. Hey Chuck, go to http://www.ticketsavvy.com, you'll find awesome deals there!

  9. Book early, up to one year or more in advance.  The cruise lines often increase the price over time then lower the price in the few months just before the sailing however the price is often more than what it would have been if you booked early plus booking last minute means last minute airfare prices which can quickly eat up anything you may have saved booking last minute.  Book early and get the cabin you want and look for a good price on airfare if you need airfare.

  10. vacations to go always have great deals and a lots of last minute deals(last minute is 30 days in advance). They are pretty good because they buy cruise tickets in bulk, then have to sell them to make money.
