How can I get a job as a golf caddy?

OK so i am 14 years old and i am looking to get a summer job as a golf caddy. I know the basic rules of golf and i know how to play. Any advice?

  1. Why not start off by volunteering your services to a senior player at the local club and ask him to teach you the ropes.

    If you do not know what you are doing you cannot expect someone to pay you.

    But get a good golfer so that you learn the proper etiquette.

  2. just hide behind a tree and wen someone walks by, carry their clubs, run away, and yell "caddy caddy caddy caddy i just stole ur golf clubs- i'll give them back if u let me be your CADDY!!!!!!"

  3. Go up to the courses in your area and talk to the employees and manager about how to get started. Some of the employees are caddies. If you really want to do this and they will not hire you due to age volunteer that sometime leads to a job and you will gain experience and knowledge of the job. Good luck.
