How can I get a job making $300 a week?

My friends all have jobs making a lot of money and my BFF even makes $300 a week and has a studio apartment and everything. My dream is to some day make that kind of money and have my own place.

My father says that I'll never amount to anything and that I'm like the Black boys that drop out of school and work on trash truck.

I live in my stepmom's loft and she says that she is tired of having to take care of me, my wife, and my daughter. My wife can't work having to take care of a child so it isn't fair for her to have all that stress.

I did get my GED when I was 21 and have held the same job for 5 years. I guess that the economy just isn't good with a Republican president.

Anyway, is there any career training I could do to earn $300 a week and get my own place?

  1. You can work at a supermarket or fast food restaurant and make $300/week.  All you're looking for is a place that will pay you $8/hour.

  2. You could try to find a second job and you and your wife are both probably eligible for all kinds of financial aid if you decide to do a 2 year program at your community college. I am sure you could get grants and maybe even child care for free. You have to fill out your FAFSA. If you act fast then you could probably enroll in a program by Fall. Many community colleges have technical training programs (nursing, welding, lab technician) jobs. My local community college (www.ppcc.edu) shows you career paths and programs you could do. I would NOT under ANY circumstance go to schools on TV or online. They will just take your money and people will laugh at your degree. Stay with STATE community colleges! Also, look for city or county jobs you could work. You could also look for jobs with school districts! Good luck!
