How can I get a lot if friends in middle school I'm a little nervous that i wont make any friends!?

I'm going to Texas Middle School and i was wandering if anybody can give me some advice on how to get a lot of friends.

Hey Amber, you can never make people be your friends.  It's something that just happens.  Trust, if you be yourself people will gravitate to you. Especially when starting a new school year you find you may start out in a certain crowd and by the end of the year it will be either a whole new different crowd or maybe just a few close friends.

Ok, so I'm just gonna get straight to your question.  The easiest way I made friends was by joining the marching band.  I loved playing my flute and being part of an organization like that introduced me to people who loved music too.

So my advice to you is join a club, try out for a sport or something that captures your attention.  That way you're guaranteed to meet people who share the same interests as you and that's a great starting point for conversations.

Also, don't be afraid to talk to people that sit next to you in classes.  You might find out that you have something in common by just chatting with someone.  You could even suggest studying together if the class is tough.

well there really isnt any advice on getting friends i mean people either like u or not. soo i jst suggest tht ur nice 2 people and if people dont lke u then 4get them and make new friends and also wht is a good way 2 kno people is 2 jst go up and tlk 2 them and dont b shy..shy gets u no where.

Don't be nervous EVERYBODY is a little scared when they first enter middle school. Just be yourself and be friendly. Besides you dont need a bunch a friends just good friends. Just wait andn if your a nice person you'll find yourself with good friends.

You don't need a lot of friends, if you do have a lot, half of them will be b*tchy anyways. You will make friend so easily because everyone is in the same boat as you and you will all be in a new school together. I'm sure you'll settle in.

Honey you don't need a lot of friends, you just need good ones.  Don't be nervous.  I'm sure that everyone going there will be just as nervous as you.  Smile and if you see someone smile back, then maybe they would like to be your friend.
