I want to start an information site about Internet scams to keep dumb people like me informed about scams and save these hard working people the all the money they work so hard for

Get your name OUT there!  Start off small and go to local businesses in your area.  Eventually, you can write up a mass letter advertising your business and explain why your looking for sponsors.  Just remember that word of mouth is VERY powerful.  

It might also be good to get in touch with companies that deal with computers/internet/websites etc.  Their sponsorship will be worth more than Joe's Crabshack.
