I'm 18 years old, 5'5 and 115 pounds. I'm pretty thin but my stomach isn't as flat as I'd like it. Recently I've been running 3-4 miles every day and do about 10 minutes of crunches/sit-ups. I then go swimming for about 40 minutes. I do most of my exercise in the evening since I don't have time during the day. If I keep this up will I see results? How fast? I've kept it up for about 10 days now. Any other advice would be dandy. Thanks!

  1. wow I'm impressed you sound very fit. That sounds like a great work out to me, you should see results after a month of that everday. I found that running sprints actually got me a more toned body than running miles.

  2. you sound like you are a good weight for your height... if you normally eat a lot of junk- especially sugar or fried foods- then that could be why you are storing fat in your stomach. if not, and your only problem area is your stomach, then i hate to say it but it could just be genetics. Also, working out that much every day isn't very good for your body, you should kick it down a notch. but i'm sure you will start to see results soon.. but as soon as you stop you will gain the weight back so you should maybe switch to something more manageable, unless you think you can do that workout forever. good luck!
