    top phot on that page is of 45509 in its unrebuilt form. This loco was never rebuilt with the Stanier 2A boiler and remained in this form until withdrawn. If by 'rebuilt' you are referring to the class's nominal status as rebuilds of scrapped 'Claughtons', this was never more than an accountant's paper excercise. Little or no material from the Claughtons would have been incorporated into 45509. The first two Patriots used wheel centres from scrapped Claughtons: these are indentifiable by their noticeably larger bosses.
