How can I get a specialist job in environmental chemistry (research assistant/scientist) in Bay area, CA?

I've got Ph.D. in analytical chemistry (experiences in environmental analysis; soil, water and air monitoring and analysis). Looking for research chemist job in Bay area, CA (or nearly cities).

Thats impressive.  If the classical approach of newspaper classified isnt working I would use the next best thing...the internet.  there are so many job offer sites and career builders that can do a complete search of the entire state or country if you want to.   Also check with where you got your Ph.D. many school will offer career services and help you find a job.  You should really look into the education sector as well because good environmental chemistry professors are hard to come by and you would still be able to do research on the side (often times it is required by schools for you to publish certain amounts of papers every year).
