There are two ways you can get sponsered.

One is ask people,but I think that is not right.

The other way is to work for it. Show  them why you should be picked. The better you race the better a deal.  Win races. Work harder and check out this site. sponserhouse.com

win some events.  Sponsors love to back "proven" racers.  Getting to that point is tough.

starting out as an amateur your going to have to go door to door to local businesses and ask them if they want to sponsor you and offer advertising space on your uniform or trailer or bike....such as patches stickers posters etc.then if your good the bigger sponsors will come to you.....your not going to be riding for coke or Pepsi at a local level although you can ride for the distributors and they would most likely be more than happy to sponsor you and possably even set up a tent if it sells there product and gets there name around as well as yours ......good luck

You have to win some national races(in the top three), you need to make a video(a bio about yourself and you racing) "DVD format". If you just started racing recently you need to wait before approaching the sponsor situation because you need  to fine tune your skills.

Don't hope for the sponsors that you want to be sponsored by.....You got to pay your dues just like the rest of us did.
