Hey:) I'm 16 years old, I've moved to Belgium last year. I can't speak French very well, but I understand everything they tell me. I need a job desperately, and I'm wondering that where do I look? Is there some international students office, or something like that? Thanks in advance

Daniel

  1. French canthttp://www.venture-europe.com/index.php?... you speak Flemish?you must be in the french quarter???pity as Flanders you would get a job?

  2. The main area you may find a Summer job would be at the seaside in the shops, cafés, restaurants or hotels.

Another possibility, but as you do not speak French this might be a bit more difficult, would be in the Ardennen which is also a very touristic place during the Summer.

Your best bet would be the seaside.

Take a day off, take the train to Ostende and check out the ads stuck on the front windows of the different establishments. That's the only way you will be able to find a student's job. (in my very modest opinion)

Another possibility - doable in every big city that is visited by a lot of tourists e.g. Brussels, Bruges, Yper, Namur, etc...- is as a tour guide.

    I wish you luck.

    Hope this helps.
