  1. This video does a very good job of explaining it http://cnettv.cnet.com/9742-1_53-5000238... Good luck!

  2. Good question. I'd like to know as well... the only method I've ever heard is burning all your songs to discs then transferring them.

That sounds way too time consuming, and I'm not wasting all those cd's.

    try looking here

  3. they try to make it impossible to do it because they don't want you to share music. they want everyone to buy their own. its business.

but then theres us. we bought the song why should we re-buy it?

    heres what you do.

plug your ipod into your laptop. make sure auto sync isnt on because it'll just erase all your music. open windows explorer. tools-folder options-show hidden files.

there'll be this filecalled ipod control which will have a whole lot of random files called f00 and f01 and things like that. copy that onto your laptop.  then open itunes and click on file-import. select the folder where you saved all your stuff. it'll copy no problems with all the real names and artwork and everything. if for some reason its not there you can click on advanced-get song titles &get id3 tags.

    goodluck.

  4. very slowly.
