How can I get an G.E.D by doing my work online?

It is actually not necessary.  My husband needed his GED before he could go to college because he was homeschooled.  He checked GED practice books out from the library to review the type of material that would be covered after a few weeks of studying he payed the fee and signed up for a scheduled test.  He scored in the top percentile.  He graduates with his bachelors this May.

Check with your local community college under Adult Continuing Education.  Usually all you pay for is the book.  Classes are ALL FREE!   Also, you can do some or all of work online.   The GED test has a fee.

Need more information as to whether or not you are in high school or have completed any high school courses or if finishing high school to obtain a high school diploma is not an option for you anymore.

As far as I know, you take a test to obtain a G.E.D., and this test is based off of a general high school curriculum. I got one in 1999, but I was told that the following year they were making the test harder for students to obtain G.E.D.'s without extensive work in a high school classroom.

If you search Google for "GED class", plenty of options should come up with high schools that offer online courses for diplomas and/or G.E.D.'s.

Good for you for wanting to finish up the high school years and getting a GED though.

Don't get a GED if you are homeschooled, get a diploma. You are better off with an unaccredited diploma, it is still a diploma.  Or check out on line High Schools like Keystone Acadamy.

HIGH SCHOOL IS EASY JUST GRADUATE!!!

If your going to college you'll get your high school diploma after a certain amount of hours. You cant take your GED test online, however. You have to pay about $45 and take it somewhere it's administered.. IT's divided into 5 catergories. Community Colleges normally offer the test
