How can I get an alternate email?

how can I get an alternate email address but keep the other one just in case I want to use it in the future?? and I want to make an alternate email FREE?

There are plenty of free web-based email services:  gmail, hotmail, yahoo.

Take your pick and sign up for one.  They will be separate from your old email and your old email will still work just fine.

Set up a gmail or hotmail account and use that, you can always keep the name and password of your other account so that you can come back to it later.
