Ok so here's the deal. I have an lg vx8550 and a 2gb microsd card. I don't have text or pix messaging and can't send an attachment to an email. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get an mp3 that is already on my memory card and set it as a ringtone. Can the verizon music kit software do it? Is it only possible to download a program that will do it for me? Is there an easier way that I can just set it as a ringtone? Also, can I record a sound and set it as a ringtone? Lastly, what use do the "my sounds" serve after I make a recording? Thanks in advance.

  1. you need to crop the mp3 file into a smaller 30 second version. I recommend that you use a free site called VENTONES

    www.ventones

    .com

for that. Then you go out and buy a memory card reader (usb) for your 2 gb card. You load the ringtone on that way,

and then you text it to your own number. That's what I do on my Voyager. Works amazing
