She is 14 and has always been a picky eater. But as she gets older she eats less and get thinner.? I have tried different brands of food, both dry and canned, but have not been able to find something she really likes. Now we are feeding her canned tuna. She will eat maybe a teaspoonful twice a day. Any ideas?

  1. My cat was a lil on the 'thin' side as well. I found the BEST thing EVER!!!

Give your cat some powdered puppy milk, just mix it in with some wet food. They have the directions on the can. It not only bulks them up but also helps with the coat. My cats fur has ALWAYS been that annoying kitten fur. Light, thin...after giving her a weeks worth of powdered puppy milk she gained weight AND her coat thickened up and there was also less shedding!! She would literally BEG for it every night! Hope this helps!

Oh, I forgot, when looking to fatten up your cat, look for the puppy milk with HIGH Colestrum<sp?>

  2. Older cats always are a little bit skinnier than we would like to see. However, look at elderly people. They get much thinner as they get older. I would just leave her, or if it is getting really concerning to you, contact the vet.
