  1. take practice tests, make sure you budget your time well. The sections always have the same directions, so if you don't have to read the directions when taking the test, you can save time and raise your score.

  2. its simple...... Study More

get someone to help you read when you are studying and when you are in the SATs exams, read the question twice but if you still cant understand it then read it again until you fully understand.... Good Luck :)

  3. When I first took a diagnostic test, I scored around a 1700 and wanted (just like you) to score higher quickly.  However, there's not really a *quick* way to improve, but I managed to get my score up to a 2300 in about three months.  You should take some classes and buy some practice books while widening your vocabulary.

But the best way to improve your score is to keep on taking practice tests (think at least once a week) while reviewing your answers and figuring out the problems you got wrong.  This way, you'll learn how identify and skip the problems you don't have a high probability of getting right and how to move through each section efficiently.  I also timed myself five minutes shorter for every section, to make sure I would have enough time for the real test, and sure enough I had a lot of time to relax on the real test day.  You also have practice with the gruelingly long test day, so you'll be prepared.

If you do all of this and persevere, I'm sure your test score will go up drastically in a few months!
