How can I get big black ants out of my tree house?

My tree house is actually (unlike most tree houses now a days,) in a tree, and is infested by large black ants that I would not like crawling on me while I sleep up there. Are there any homemade solutions to get rid of them? There are not just large black ants, by the way.....There happens to be a variety of ants.

  1. They were probably in the tree long before you built your tree house. Sounds like you need a strong ant and roach killer. We had a tree house growing up and had to put up with wasp's nest and everything else that crawled and flew. My brother got bit by a spider, and that was the end of out tree house days. The only things you can do is spray the whole place with an ant killer. Good luck.

  2. Put some ant juice at the bottom of the tree........they need a drink and like to travel once in a while also ........just like us...good luck....and nite

  3. Use a mix of cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle it here and there. The ants will come and pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her
