My friend lives next door to a violent, and abusive man who has a history of alcohol and possible drug abuse in the past. My question is this: She paid for a background check and found four criminal reports on him. She has the case numbers, dates, and court locations, but not the offenses committed. How can she find out the criminal offenses committed? I'm not looking for advice like call the cops

  1. She can take the case numbers and go to the court house where the trials were held and get copies of everything related to the charges, some jurisdictions have web sites as in Illinois,(www.judici.com) where some of the cases are posted, you can call the courthouses and see if they have their own web sites but if not going to the court house and requesting the info would be the only way, court cases become public record and are accessible to all parties.~
