How can I get dirt out of tile grout?

Depends on what the stains are from.  A bucket of water, a small scrub brush and a gentle cleanser (mr. clean, etc.)  Just brush the grout joints.  They should come clean without much effort.  If they are really dirty, you could mix some tsp with water and try that.  If they are white, you can add some bleach to water. (don't do all these together, they are individual remedies)  If it is grease, you will probably have to get a degreaser. Then mop up.

mix hydrochloric acid and water 10/1 mix, in a spray bottle and spray onto the grout and leave for around 5 min and use plenty of water to flush off the acid, after this only use white vinigar and water to clean or mop tiles, as soap scum will only build up on grout , vinigar is a mild acid and will keep the grout in good condition

1 part vinegar to 4 parts water and a stiff nylon brush. Do not use this very often to clean. Vinegar is acidic and will eventually break down the grout if used to often. After you get it clean. Seal the grout to help keep it clean longer.

CLR     you can buy it at Walmart. Works wonderful, tiles look brand new.

   used  Toothbrush  , Ajax(scouring powder )and water spray,

scrub it with a toothbrush and add a little bit of vinegar in it. It avoids the bacteria and odor smells. Shiny!

There is a tile cleaner that is soooo good, but u now have to order it online.   Publix used to carry it but now they dont.   It is Finnazzle.  

Awsome stuff.     Worth ordering online.  They have it for white or lite grout and for colored.     Super stuff!!!!!

My daughter loves to get a bowl of water and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to clean the floor. It really gets the tile and the grout clean. I'm amazed at how well it works. I don't have to worry about her using harmful chemicals, either.
