I've been working hard my whole life on singing and acting. I have many many many local fans. Everybody syas I have a prettty voice and would buy my album if I was signed. I've been in many plays 37 to be exact. I really want to know how to get discovered besides American Idol.

get an agent.  There are alot of good singers and actors in the world though, so you have a bit of competition.  alot of my friends said theyd buy my album if i made one...but im pretty sure not alot of them did until like my 3rd album

It sounds like you are doing th same thing over and over - not 37 shows of experience , but ONE show of experience, 37 times.  You need FAR more education and training - you mentioned NONE in your post.  There are SO SO SO many people just like you - or better - out there, that you have to have skills that exceed theirs.

You are going about this backwards - you do not GET FAMOUS - you get GOOD, and perhaps fame will follow.  

Not to be mean - but I have been doing this since 1971 - you might think you are "one IN a million", but in reality, you are "one OF a million".

You really working hard with your passion. so i have great advice for you to become famous, you should design your web blog & advertise it on websites.

Make a CD and then work on getting with a band... but if all you can do is sing and act and you don't play an instrument.. then you are competing for a spot with people who CAN sing and act AND PLAY AN INSTRUMENT...

There are an estimated 300 unemployed guitar pickers in Nashville at any one time... and an estimated 3000 SINGERS who are unemployed in the same town... People who can only sing.. are a dime a dozen.

If you are singing just to be famous, then you are probably doing doing it for the wrong reason.

You should sing because you ENJOY it, not because you want to be famous. Getting good enoug to sign a deal demands a deep commitment, and unless you are doing it for the LOVE of music, you won't be willing to do the work it takes to make it.
