How can I get free recycling bins?

Im part of an environmental club at my high school and we are trying to find a way to get free recycling bins for our school. My school is in Illinois

Hello...When I was in High School in 06 we just called the recycling company and told them the reason for our bins... we had a trailer that they donated for our use...I was on the student council and the president drove the trailer to the plant in town every month or when it needed to be dumped...hope i was some help.

call ur city and ask for one  they will deliver one to your house Then you can recycle all your items like glass  plastic metal aluminum newpapers and paper  they take boxes and detergent containers and cleaner bottles  anything you can think of that it reuseable they will take it  they also take grocery bags and paper bags   so use ur mind get creative

trash companys ..inquire with the health department in your area and people  take their alumin cans to be sold..

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental protection  provides them free for schools. The program is called The Green Team. www.thegreenteam.org. Maybe your state has a similar program. Google "Illinois Department of Environmental protection" and call them and ask.
