Are there any airlines that fly from Athens to south Turkey? I'd like to make my way up from the southern coast by bus to Istanbul so I don't want to start my trip in Istanbul and have to do a round trip.

  1. Why not take a ferry?

  2. call the chariot of Apollo..

  3. you will problably do not get a direct flight from Athen to south Turkey. I guess the shortest connection will be a stop over in Istanbul. check the greek and turkish airlines or call or visit the counters at the international airport close to you.

  4. You can fly with Turkish airlines from Athens to Antalya.

There may be cheaper options available if you search.

  5. You can fly to Rhodes (Greece) and from there take a boat to Marmaris (Turkey).  The connections are daily.  However either contact an agent in Rhodes (to prepare the papers for the passage) or give yourself a few hours in Rhodes to get the papers ready. The airfare is inexpensive if you book in advance.   Have a good time! ; )
