How can I get from Boston Logan Airport to Hartford, CT on the 25th November?

I am visiting friends for Thanksgiving from the UK. I've booked my flight. It lands on the 25th Nov at about 1pm. Now I need to get nearer to them in Hartford but Amtrak only have trains that leave before I could get to the station. What other ways can I get there? Is there any availability? Peter Pan bus says they have very limited availability for that day. Are there any shared shuttle/taxi services, maybe that go to Bradley Airport in Hartford? I have up to $150 to spend. Please help. I don't want to be stranded.

If you got an int'l drivers license, car rental is a decent option.  Just stay on the right side of the street.

Are you trying to go to Hartford or to Bradley Airport??

I do not know where you get your information that all Amtrak trains leave before you can get to the station.  True the one train a day via Springfield will be missed but there are trains leaving all day and into the evening with connections via New Haven (Northeast Corridor Service) you can take.  Also, Amtrak usually schedules extra trains for the Thanksgiving period.

If Peter Pan said that they have very limited seating, then try Greyhound. My girlfriend travels that route from South Station in Boston to Union Station in Hartford every thanksgiving too. She has always made it, and usually if there are more people than seats, they will make a second bus load that is express to hartford (instead of stopping in worcester). Buy your ticket now online, buses are cheap and its a short 2 hour drive.

In terms of getting from Logan to South station, use the subway, blue line to red line.
