  1. There are trains from Milano Centrale to Como San Giovanni station starting at 6:05 am. The regional trains take 45 minutes to an hour depending on the specific train. There are also faster trains that take about 40 minutes. The latest train returning to Milan from Como is at 11:08 pm. You can check specific schedules and prices at: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

In Como, go to the harbor and get a boat to Lenno - ask for the discounted ticket for the Villa. Schedule: http://www.navigazionelaghi.it/eng/com/n... There are more options on the fast services, but some motorships also stop there. The boat schedules back to Como are on the same site.

Access to the Villa is via boat from Lenno or if you're there on a Tuesday, Saturday. or Sunday, you can walk in. It's less than a kilometer.

If you go there, i suggest to go also in Como and Brunate.
