Air France has the most flights, however it is actually more convenient to take the TGV train. It is a lovely ride and costs the same in most cases. By the time you  transport yourself to the airport wait to check in and board (two hours prior to take off required), then take the 1 and half hour flight, you end up using more time to get to Montpeillier by flight. The experience is stressful too. The TGV is super relaxing and enjoyable.

With the TGV you depart from Gare de Lyon Paris and arrive in the center Montpeillier within 3 hours.

You can book your ticket on the web (in English) through the official SNCF website (no middle man just between you and the train company)! Press the British flag for English.

I did a comparsion based on this month with the TGV and Air France and this is what I discovered:

2nd class ticket (not bad at all, very clean, nice etc)
