  1. I have a couple of suggestions for you:

    - Call up public schools and ask if they would like to put a hamper together for the Poor children in India

    - Put buletins in your local shopping centres

    - Put an advertisement in the paper asking for people to help

Or find a charity to join, so you can be a part of it.

Im 16, and help with alot of fundrasing at my school.

You have a really good heart, so good luck to you and thanks for helping those in need!

    Hope I helped :)

  2. Do you have a particular school in mind? If not, narrow your focus a little.

In the US, folks, even generous ones, generally don't really have a concept of life in other parts of the world. If you just say you're raising money for "people in India" they might think, "well, there are people here, too." If, however, you can change "people" to "Palavi, who cannot attend school because she has to spend her day walking with her jar to the only well in the village, which is 5 miles away, to bring back water to the hut in which she lives, whose father died in an industrial accident when she was a baby, and whose mother earns ten cents taking in laundry and washing it in the river, to try to keep herself and her daughter from starving each day..." well, that is a story that would move me to compassion. Do you see the difference? Tell a story. Show me a photo of the child. Now ask for money to help fix this injustice.
