I've always had horrible grades, and its gotten to the point were If I don't pass everything this year I may not graduate.

I have ADHD, and take Adderall XR, at 30mg.

I'm not in any clubs or anything either.

I'm well behaved, I just don't have the working skills.

What can I do this year to get better grades?

I'm desperate.

  1. This was the boat I was in my senior year.

I just made sure to do my work, show up for class, and ALWAYS ask my teachers for help. I got a pity pass in math because I asked for help, got a tutor (and went every day) and had my tutor and teacher in contact with each other. Honestly, if you SHOW that you're putting in effort, your teacher will notice and that in itself will be a big help.

Do not be afraid to ask for help from other students or your teacher.

If you're not in any clubs, you'll have time for this.

Follow through on your assignments, STUDY, and always ask what more can be done. Like I said, showing the teacher you give a s4it helps enormously.

You can ask the school counselor or your teacher for another student who might be willing to tutor you or, if you have the money, your parents can get you a tutor. I hated tutoring but I always got my work done, was prepared for tests, and my teacher knew I was trying.

    Good luck.

  2. Aww that sucks.

Make friends with people you sit next to in your classes and ask for help when you need it. Like if you're taking notes and didn't get something before the teacher changes it, then ask that person.

People don't go haywire when you ask them for help. Studying together with a group of friends really helps too. It helps you stay concentrated longer, rather than when you're by yourself.

Good luck! I'm a senior next year too =]
