Question:

How can I get him to move?

My boyfriend and I have lived together for over a year. We recently moved across the country and haven't found a place so we've been living with his parents for almost 6 months. I can't stand our living situation anymore, and I've asked him to start looking for a place with me.

He said he'd rather save money for school, but he'll help try to look, but it won't happen for months. I can't wait months and I don't think he really wants to move. I can't stress the importance of moving enough. I'm about to lose it. How can I make him understand? The situation is going to tear us apart.

  1. Bitty is right Ella, you should just go on and move by yourself. The funny thing is he cant s***w his parents so, he'll miss you and eventually come to where you are. I say find a temp sublet on http://www.Craigslist.org in your city and find a temp place or a room for rent. It will get better. They got great places for 300 a month.

    Praying it works out,

6:45 p.m.- Ella, you are most welcome. Simple fact is, he has the comforts of home and love. Which one will hurt worst. Missing the trip to toys rs us or the "other" toy stores??? Kitty rules the world babe. Always has...we got personal ATM's and don't even use them. Point is, mommy cant do what you can. Now all you gotta learn how to do is bake apple pie and you're set for life.

  2. You should consider whether or not it really is about money or if he just doesn't want to leave the comfort and convenience of his parents' place.  If it's the latter, I'd kiss him goodbye.  If it's a serious relationship, he needs to be secure enough and mature enough to not live with mommy and daddy.
